STOP!?

The fig tree is pollinated only by the insect Blastophaga Grossorun. The larva of the insect lives in the ovary of the fig tree, and there it gets its food. The tree and the insect are thus heavily interdependent: the tree cannot reproduce without the insect; the insect cannot eat without the tree; together, they constitute not only a viable but a productive and thriving partnership. This cooperative living together in intimate association, or even close union, of two dissimilar organisms is called symbiosis.

The moment I was preparing to leave, a question appeared. Do I really want to leave town? The answer is no. Neither I want to leave, mainly because I don’t want to see that something has changed in a future visit; neither I can stay, because there is an unknown path that I must go through. It’s a bit odd that, when I first left, there was a need (and a hope) for change, being there the main reason why I wanted to go. Now it’s exactly the opposite.

The secret gardens must remain, and we just can’t give up something cause the afraid of loosing other. It’s not easy… but, it never is! Even though, the main strength to leave settle would be in the inevitable public garden it would become during the time we remained in there.

Two different organisms, two different destinies, one secret garden! I will try to come back. It will be changed, for sure, but there is a chance of becoming more beautiful and strong… at least, hope so!
